Approach

Not every idea deserves to become a token.

The right ideas deserve the resources to become real. Our job is to find those, and build them properly.

This page explains what we look for, what we pass on, and what happens when you reach out.

Six things we look for.

Not a checklist. Strong projects usually have most of them, and are honest about the rest.

  1. 01

    A real reason to exist

It solves something, or makes something possible that wasn’t before. “Crypto, but for X” is not a reason.

  2. 02

    Founder conviction

You would build this with or without us. We look for people who have already started, or are about to.

  3. 03

    Technical depth

Something hard to copy sits underneath. Code, research, data, a mechanism, or a real insight into users.

  4. 04

    Room to grow

The idea can get much bigger than where it starts. We look for projects with a long horizon.

  5. 05

    A token with a job

If there is a token, it has to do real work in the product. If it doesn’t need one, we’ll say so.

  6. 06

    Honesty about the gaps

You know where you’re stuck and you say it plainly. That is where we are most useful.

Projects we don’t take on.

  • Memecoins
  • Forks with a new logo
  • Tokens without a job
  • Projects that only want a listing

A project that isn’t a fit for us can still be a good project. If we’re not the right partner, we’ll say so early.

From first message to first build.

  1. 1

    You tell us

What you’re building, what you’ve done and where you’re stuck. A few clear paragraphs are enough. You don’t need a deck.

  2. 2

    We read it

Every submission is read by a person on the team.

  3. 3

    We talk

If there’s a possible fit, we set up a conversation to go deeper on the project, the founders and the gaps.

  4. 4

    We decide together

If we both want to proceed, we put what VANTA brings and how the partnership works in writing before any work starts.

  5. 5

    We build

We start work on product, technology, launch or growth, depending on what the project needs.

Common questions.

Do I need a working product?

No. We work with founders who are already building and with founders who are starting from an idea. What matters is the strength of the idea and the people behind it.

Does every project need a token?

No. A token should exist only when it has a real job. If your project doesn’t need one, we’ll tell you, and that won’t count against it.

Are you an investor or a service provider?

We work as a partner that builds with the team. The work usually starts with product, technology, token design and go-to-market.

How are partnerships structured?

It depends on what the project needs and what we take on. Terms are agreed in writing before any work starts, and either side can walk away before that.

I’m not technical. Can I still submit?

Yes, if the idea is strong. Tell us who will build it, or what kind of builder you still need to find.

What happens after I submit?

A person on the team reads it. If there is a possible fit, we reach out to talk. If it isn’t the right fit, we aim to tell you that too.

Is my submission confidential?

Yes. We use what you send only to evaluate the project. We don’t share it.
